The 3-time all-state outfielder from Frontenac signs her letter of intent.

FRONTENAC, Kan. -- Abi Beaman signs her letter of intent on Thursday afternoon to play softball at Avila University (NAIA).

Beaman is a 1st-team all-state outfielder in each of her first three high school seasons. She says the decision-making process on what college to attend did not take very long.

"Last summer at the California tournament," Beaman says about when she first heard from Avila. "I went on a visit there and I just knew -- it felt like home."
