Girard High School senior Kara Pope signs her letter of intent to wrestle at Baker University on Wednesday.

GIRARD, Kan. -- Girard High School senior Kara Pope signs a letter of intent to continue her wrestling career at Baker University (KS) on Wednesday.

"Their program has been around for a couple of years now, and they have a really good coach," Pope says. "Kit Harris -- he used to be the Baldwin High School coach. There's a lot of good foundation there that can help me become an even better wrestler than I am now."
