The Purple Dragons dominate Basehor-Linwood in the regional championship 10-2.

PITTSBURG, Kan. -- Pittsburg High School baseball entered the bottom of the 2nd inning trailing Basehor-Linwood 2-1 in the 5A regional championship on Thursday.

By the end of the inning, the Purple Dragons held a 10-2 lead.

That 9-run 2nd inning leads Pittsburg to a state tournament berth.
