MSSU Baseball loses to Arkansas-Monticello 7-4

JOPLIN, Mo. - The Missouri Southern Lions enter Day 2 of the Central Region looking to advance to the regional finals. Southern squares off against the reigning GAC conference tournament champs Arkansas-Monticello.

MSSU led 4-0 in the early stages of the ball game, but Arkansas-Monticello scored 7 unanswered runs in the final two innings of the game. Lions lose a tough game 7-4, MSSU will now face Harding University tomorrow at 1 pm in an elimination game.
