    Plane taking off hit a hay bale, crashed, 4 dead

    CANADIAN COUNTY, Okla. (KOAM) — The single engine plane was taking off from Sundance on Tuesday afternoon when it crashed just off the runway.

    According to Scott Douglas of Oklahoma City Fire Dept. He said his crews could see the smoke cloud before arriving then finding the plane fully engulfed in fire in a wooded area.

    Four people were on board, there were no survivors.

    More details are found in a report by the FAA. The BEECH / F33A plane is registered to an owner from Oklahoma City. Names of the deceased are not being released at this time.

    The preliminary report from the FAA states the plane was taking off.
