Certified Healthy Oklahoma Program opens 2024 applications

(KOAM) - The Certified Healthy Oklahoma Program is now accepting applications for 2024. This free, voluntary certification recognizes businesses, schools, communities, and other organizations that prioritize health and wellness through environmental and policy changes.

Certified Healthy recipients are acknowledged as community leaders and are invited to a special awards event. The program, established in 2003, aims to improve the health of Oklahomans by promoting better eating, physical activity, and tobacco-free living.

Organizations interested in applying are encouraged to showcase their commitment to a healthier future for Oklahoma.
