Commerce Public Schools inform parents about campus power outage

COMMERCE, Okla. (KOAM) -- Commerce Public Schools is informing parents about a power outage following recent storms.

Commerce Schools say classrooms were without power for a portion of the day, but they reached out to Liberty Utilities about the outage, which was due to lightning hitting a substation.

The power has since been restored to the school.
