NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — Shortly after 11 a.m. Friday reports of an overturned tractor-trailer on State Hwy HH and School Farm Road near Neosho, Mo. alerted Newton County Central Comm. E-911.

Neosho Fire Protection District, Newton County Deputies, and Newton County Ambulance responded. The Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.

The driver was not injured.

On scene we learn from Missouri State Highway Patrol the tractor-trailer was fully loaded, traveling south on State Hwy HH and was traveling too fast on a curve, the entire unit and trailer laid over on its side to the right of the road.

The trailer was carrying a full load, chicken feed.

Ron’s Towing was summoned to recover the vehicle and load.

Traffic will be slowed through the area ( see map ) for part of the day and the road will close completely when they are readied to set the crash upright again.
