    Miami High School receives $9,000 grant for aviation program

    MIAMI, Okla. (KOAM) -- Miami High School will benefit from grants toward their schools Aviation Program.

    The Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics granted Miami High School $9,000 dollars to improve their aviation program

    With this funding, Miami High School will be able to purchase drones, flight simulators, and afford aviation related field trips.

    This will offer hands on learning experience to the students and open the door for future career opportunities.

    The funding will offer a crucial foundation for a career as a pilot, in aerospace engineering, technicians, and other jobs.

    This will help Miami High School students achieve their career dreams and benefit the Oklahoma workforce.
