Storm damage reporting instructions for Miami and Ottawa County residents

(KOAM) - Residents of Miami and Ottawa County affected by the storms on August 16, 2024, are urged to document and report their storm damage.

For those within Miami City limits, please email photos of the damage to mstotts@miamiokla.net. Include your address with the photos to assist Emergency Management in documenting the event.

If you reside outside Miami City limits, forward your damage photos to the Ottawa County Emergency Management office at ottawacountyem@gmail.com. Be sure to include your name, address, city, and phone number with your submission. Please note, responses may take several days.

Additionally, the Southern Baptist Chainsaw crew will be deployed in the county soon to assist with cleanup efforts.
