PARSONS, Kan. (KOAM) -- The Parsons Police Department receives the donation of Guardian Angel personal emergency lights from CST Industries.

According to the Parsons Police Department, the Guardian Angel wearable safety lights are designed to enhance the safety of law enforcement officers and first responders while working in hazardous environments. The advanced features of the lights will assist officers during traffic stops, crash investigations, and other critical operations.

"This generous gift from CST Industries not only demonstrates their commitment to our community but also directly contributes to the safety of our officers. Priced at over $4,000 these Guardian Angel lights are more than just tools—they're lifelines that will help ensure our officers return home safely to their families after every shift. We are deeply thankful for CST's support and partnership," said Chief Robert Spinks.

"The Guardian Angel lights have been exceptionally well received by our officers. Their hands-free functionality and visibility are game changers in the field, especially during nighttime operations. We're ready to see how these lights will make a difference in keeping our officers safe," said Patrol Lieutenant Kyle Wiford.
