Elanco to invest $130 million in Elwood expansion

(KOAM)  - Today, Governor Laura Kelly announced that Elanco Animal Health Inc. will invest $130 million to expand its Elwood facility, creating around 70 new jobs over the next two years.

The expansion will boost production of the Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody and support future monoclonal antibody innovations.

“Elanco’s investment underscores Kansas’s economic vitality and our success in attracting top businesses,” said Governor Kelly.

The facility, located in the Animal Health Corridor, will benefit from improved capacity and project development.

The expansion, led by Kansas City’s Burns & McDonnell, will enhance local economic growth and stability, positioning Elanco to better meet market demands.
