Fatal crash closes US-60 between Seneca and Neosho

UPDATE: US-60 was closed both directions over 4 hours Wednesday morning. Roadway reopened before noon. We learn on scene it is a fatal crash investigation.

NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — Just after 7 a.m. Wednesday a serious crash closed US-60 between Neosho and Seneca.

Lifeflight has landed on US-60. Choose alternate route.

We have no update on injuries or vehicles involved. We are told this is a serious crash and the Missouri State Highway Patrol MCIU (Major Crash Investigation Unit) has been summoned.
