Lane reductions on Route 60 in Newton County for pavement repairs

NEWTON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) - Drivers in Newton County should prepare for nighttime lane reductions on U.S. Route 60 near Granby from Sunday, August 25 , to Wednesday, August 28 .

Contractor crews will be repairing concrete pavement between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m . each night.

The work zone, located at Newton County Routes M and W, will see the following traffic impacts:

• Route 60 will be reduced to one lane at Routes M & W.
• Newton County Routes M & W will be closed at Route 60.
• Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
• No signed detour will be provided, so drivers should plan alternate routes.
• All lanes will be open during daytime hours.

Drivers are urged to use caution, follow signage, and check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for updates. Weather or scheduling delays could affect the work schedule.
