Video highlights: Joplin High School Jamboree at Junge, Carthage Jamboree too!

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — Tonight the Joplin Eagles host the annual Jamboree where area teams play against one another in short scrimmage match ups.

The district has a message for parents of those attending:

“The 2024 JHS Football Jamboree is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. tonight at Junge Field. If your students are planning to come cheer on our JHS teams at Junge Field, please review these important reminders to ensure all guests have a great experience.

• Elementary and Middle School students MUST be accompanied by an adult for admission into any Joplin Schools athletic event.
• Once admitted, all students should remain seated in the stands unless visiting the restroom or concession stand.
• Students will not be permitted to congregate in any area outside the bleachers but may sit together in the stands as a group.
• Spectators may not bring footballs or similar items into the stadium.
• Remember: Extracurricular activities are an extension of the school day, so appropriate behavior is expected.
