    Two arrested in morning Pittsburg drug search warrant in school zone

    PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) - The Pittsburg Police Department and Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) executed a drug search warrant this morning around 9:00am on the 400th block of West 9th Street in Pittsburg, leading to two arrests.

    Blake Allen Pilkington, a 49-year-old Pittsburg resident, has been officially charged with multiple felonies, including distributing a controlled substance (100 to 1,000 units of an opiate, opium, narcotic, or stimulant), possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture. He is being held without bond.

    Additionally, a 25-year-old woman found with narcotics and drug paraphernalia was released due to health reasons, with her case being referred to the Crawford County Attorney’s Office for review.
