Mueller Company expands in Springfield with $22M investment, adding 133 jobs

(KOAM) - Paul Mueller Company, a manufacturer of stainless steel tanks and equipment, is expanding its Springfield operations with a $22 million investment, creating 133 new jobs.

The expansion includes a new 100,000-square-foot facility focused on assembling large production modules for the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and chemical industries. The project will double the company’s research and development space, enhancing its capacity for innovation.

Governor Mike Parson praised the expansion as a testament to Missouri's growing economy. The project, supported by the Missouri Works program and Missouri One Start, marks another milestone in Paul Mueller Company’s long-standing presence in Springfield since 1940.
