    McDonald's recognize local teachers with the Outstanding Educator Award

    (KOAM) - McDonald's is calling on the community to help recognize local educators who go above and beyond in their dedication to improving education.

    The Outstanding Educator Award seeks to honor teachers who show unwavering commitment to their students and consistently contribute to enhancing the quality of education in their schools.

    Selected educators will receive a $100 gift card as part of the recognition. Nominations are open from September 3 to September 22, and can be submitted online through the official website here .

    To qualify, nominated teachers must work within one of the eligible counties across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. These include:

    • Kansas: Allen, Bourbon, Cherokee, Crawford, Labette, Neosho
    • Oklahoma: Delaware, Ottawa
    • Arkansas: Carroll, Baxter, Boone
    • Missouri: Numerous counties, including Jasper, Greene, Newton, Barry, Cape Girardeau, Boone, and more

    Teachers from Kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to be nominated, with winners being announced in fall 2024.
