Pittsburg State Music Department prepares for next performances

PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) -- Pittsburg State University is preparing for its next Hispanic Music Festival.

According to the university, the performance will take place on Wednesday, September 25, at 7 p.m. in McCray Hall.

PSU says the recital will feature performances of Hispanic composers by students and faculty from the Music Department.

The performances are part of the first PSU Hispanic Music Festival, organized by Isaac Hernandez, university piano instructor and co-advisor of Hispanics of Today, that runs through Oct. 9.

The event is free and open to the public.
