NASCAR playoffs begin with Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway

(KOAM) - The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Kansas Speedway this Sunday, September 29, for the first race of the Round of 12 in the playoffs—the Hollywood Casino 400 Presented by ESPN Bet.

The race will air live at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network , with a 30-minute Countdown to Green pre-race show starting at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Kyle Larson enters the Kansas race as the top seed after dominating last week at Bristol Motor Speedway. Five of the 12 remaining playoff drivers have previously won at Kansas Speedway, including Larson, Tyler Reddick, Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott, and Joey Logano. Reddick won last year’s race in a dramatic overtime finish.

Heading into the Round of 12, drivers on the playoff bubble include Austin Cindric (-4), Daniel Suarez (-6), Alex Bowman (-7), and Chase Briscoe (-7).

Fans can catch qualifying on Saturday, September 28, with Xfinity Series qualifying at 11 a.m. ET, followed by Cup Series qualifying at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
