38th annual Kids Classic Fun Run at Joplin High School track

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) -- Young runners are invited to participate in the 38th annual Kids Classic Fun Run at the Jopling High School track.

According to the host of the event, the Joplin Area Roadrunners, the gate will open at 1 p.m. and registration will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 6.

Race details:

• Grade 6 reports to the track at 1:45, 1 mile run begins at 2 pm.
• Grades 4 & 5 report to the track at 2:10, 1 mile run begins at 2:40 pm.
• Grades 2 & 3 report to the track at 2:40, ½ mile run begins at 3:10 pm.
• Grades K & 1 report to the track at 3:30, ¼ mile run begins at 3:40 pm.
• Pre-K reports to the track with parent or guardian at 3:40, run begins at 4:10 pm.
