OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY PATROL (KOAM) — The states OTA (Oklahoma Turnpike Authority) Trooper of the month is recognized for his work with Newton County Sheriff’s Office.

“Trooper Seth Hudson #756: an arrest he made back on September 19. That’s when he made a traffic stop on the Will Rogers Turnpike of an assault/kidnapping suspect. Trooper Hudson worked with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office out of Missouri to conduct a felony stop on the vehicle and place the suspect into custody.” — OHP

The female driver of the vehicle had been kidnapped and stabbed by the suspect and Trooper Hudson got her safely transported to the hospital.

“Trooper Hudson’s diligence in being on the lookout for this vehicle meant the victim was safely taken care of and a dangerous criminal was taken off Oklahoma’s roadways,” OHP states in a release.
