Two arrested in morning drug bust in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) - On the morning of October 9, 2024, law enforcement officers from the Pittsburg Police Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation executed a drug search warrant at an apartment in Pittsburg.

According to authorities, the residence located at 100th block of W Forest Street, was searched leading to the detention of one individual on-site.

A second suspect was located and arrested at their place of employment shortly thereafter.

Both face multiple charges, including felony distribution and possession of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and cocaine. Additional charges include felony criminal use of weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia.
