Lane reductions at Route 43 in Joplin starting Oct. 14

(KOAM) - Motorists in Joplin should expect lane reductions and delays at the intersection of Missouri Route 43 (Main Street) and Fountain Road due to new traffic signal installation.

The work will occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, from October 14 to November 16.

Traffic Impacts:

• Lane reductions on Route 43, with at least one lane open at all times.
• All Fountain Road lanes will remain open.
• Crews will work only during the day; all lanes will reopen at night and on weekends.
• Drivers are urged to use caution and seek alternate routes around the work zone, as signs will be posted to alert approaching traffic.
