    Cherokee Co. groups to assist with low income housing needs

    CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) -- Some Cherokee County groups team up to assist people in need of low income housing.

    The Cherokee County Health Department and the USDA Rural Development Program will host an event next Tuesday on how it fill out applications for section 502 and 504 housing.

    Event organizers hope to also provide information on the financial impacts of low income housing and on low income energy assistance.
