Fisher-Price recalls Snuga Swings: 5 deaths reported

(KOAM) - Fisher-Price and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have recalled the Fisher-Price Snuga Swings after five infant deaths between 2012 and 2022.

The deaths occurred when the swing was used for sleep, often unrestrained and with added bedding materials.

Consumers are urged to remove the headrest and body support insert before continuing to use the swing for awake-time activities.

Fisher-Price is offering a $25 refund for the removal of these parts.

For more information and safe sleep tips, visit www.service.mattel.com or the CPSC website.
