Motorcycle and car collide, Zora and Rangeline serious crash

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — Just before 6:15 a.m. Tuesday morning reports of a passenger car and motorcycle crash at Zora and N Rangeline alerted Joplin E-911.

Immediately the southbound lanes of N Rangeline were closed as debris and vehicles blocked the lanes.

Joplin Fire, Joplin Police and METS ambulance responded. Webb City Police responded to assist with traffic control.

The male motorcyclist was rushed to an area priority one trauma with numerous injuries. However he was still communicating with EMS.

Chuck’s Towing removing the motorcycle.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Traffic was disrupted along the intersection for about 75 minutes.

Chuck’s Towing and Appleton Towing removed the crashed vehicles and debris.

People in cars need to pay better attention and watch for motorcycles. This is like 3 serious motorcycle/car crashes I've read about in 3 days. A motorcyclist will always lose in those incidents. Praying for the health of the motorcyclist for a full and speedy recovery.
