Chanute man injured in Neosho County motorcycle crash

NEOSHO COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) -- A Chanute, Kansas man is in the hospital hollowing a serious motorcycle crash in Neosho County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash report , it happened on Saturday, October 26 around 8 p.m. The crash involved a motorcycle and a Chevy Silverado.

KHP says the truck was traveling eastbound on K39 and failed to yield to the motorcycle while turning onto Harper Road. The motorcycle hit the truck on the passenger side.

The truck driver didn't possess any apparent injuries; however, the motorcycle driver was taken to KU Medical with suspected serious injures.
