So excited for this journey!” the new father writes.The couple first announced to the world that they were becoming parents back in April.“Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, We’ll be mom and dad,” Amanda captioned the birth announcement. Friends and family would search the yard to find them, and then the parents-to-be would open them one by one.In each egg, there was either a pink or blue beaded necklace. As the awaiting parents opened the eggs, they would place the necklace around their necks and tally up the amount of blue and pink.The pair has known each other since high school, but wouldn't start dating until years later.
