New relief for Osteoarthritis patients thanks to OHSU knee repair technique

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — According to the World Health Organization, as of 2019, 538 million people worldwide are living with Osteoarthritis, a 113% increase since 1990.

However, there is now relief that wasn’t available five years ago.

KOIN 6 News’ Emma Jerome spoke with Karla Hunt, a trailblazing Oregonian who took her health into her own hands and took a risk so that many others could hopefully find relief.
