Wallet Wednesday: Big changes come to the real estate market

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — For the first time in decades, American consumers face new real estate practice regulations that will go into effect on Aug. 17.

The big changes stem from a recent settlement by the National Association of Realtors and will impact home buyers and sellers as well as how realtor agents operate.

AM Extra was joined by Kevin Sears, president of the National Association of Realtors, to talk about the impacts on the real estate industry and what homebuyers need to know.
