PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Providence Park is getting ready for its first concert in almost 20 years.

The Timbers and Thorns home pitch was transformed earlier this week to prepare for the Foo Fighters concert on Friday.

A timelapse shared by Providence Park shows the venue’s complete transformation as they set up seating.

In October, when the concert was first announced, officials said that the park could hold around 30,000 people with the new seating added, making it the largest stadium in Portland.

After Foo Fighters, Green Day and The Smashing Pumpkins take the stage on September 25.
