    Teens arrested following Mountain View HS threat with loaded guns

    PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – Two teens are in custody after police responded to reports of a threat made to Mountain View High School and found the pair armed outside the school, according to Vancouver police.

    A student first reported a social media message with a “threat to shoot outside Mountain View High School in an attempt to possibly confront a specific student” around 12 p.m.

    Officers responded to the school during an investigation and saw 18-year-old Mekhi J. Parker and Azaviar D. Johnson “approaching the school” with a loaded gun in their possession.

    Both teens were booked into Clark County Jail and face charges of first-degree attempted assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm on school property, and felony threat.

    Police said neither person is a student in the Evergreen School District.
