2024 Team Hope Walk to support those with Huntington’s disease

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — You can lace up and show your support for those living with Huntington’s disease at the 2024 Team Hope Walk.

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America is hosting the event at Portland’s Laurelhurst Park on Saturday. It’s a chance to help the nonprofit continue its mission to improve the lives of those affected by the fatal genetic disorder.

Event chair Chelsea Roberts joined AM Extra live with a preview of the important fundraiser, where the funds raised will go toward and how people can register.

Check-in for the event begins at 9:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.
