Driver killed in late night Gresham crash

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A driver was killed after reportedly driving off of a Northeast Gresham road and crashing late Saturday night.

Just before midnight, Gresham police officers responded to the 1200 block of Northeast Kane Drive on reports of the crash.

On arrival, officials say they found a single car had left the roadway and struck a “fixed object.” The driver was dead at the scene.

Authorities say speed was a likely factor in the crash.

No further information, including the driver’s identity, has been released at this time.
