Portland’s top 10 places for apple pie, according to Yelp reviews

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Fall is here. Get ready for puffy jackets, pumpkin patches and big, sloppy wedges of apple pie.

Each fall, the Pacific Northwest produces roughly 64% of all apples grown in the U.S. The State of Washington alone harvests 10 billion apples per year — enough to circle the Earth 20 times, the Washington State Department of Agriculture says .

More than half of apples available for U.S. consumption are turned into juice, the USDA says. Fortunately, some of those billions of apples are also destined for apple pie.

With the fall apple harvest ongoing, KOIN 6 reached out to Yelp to find the best places in the Portland area for apple pie.
