    True Crime Tuesday: Reexamining the murder of Essie Jackson

    PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A decades-old North Portland murder case, once thought to be tied to a serial killer, is now headed in a different direction.

    In March 1983, Essie Jackson was found dead at Overlook Park. Her murder was originally tied to convicted serial killer Homer Jackson, however, that charge was dropped just a few years ago.
