Woodburn police seek person of interest in late August shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — The Woodburn Police Department is seeking assistance with identifying a person of interest in a shooting investigation.

The agency responded to a shooting at The End Zone on 980 N Pacific Hwy around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24. According to WPD, a physical fight between a victim and two suspects at the bar ended in the victim being shot.

The person of interest is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, with an average build and short, dark hair. Authorities have shared photos of him wearing a white sweatshirt.

Woodburn officials said he left the scene of the shooting in a silver or grey sedan. Anyone who can identify him is urged to contact WPD.
