Man shot dead in downtown Portland parking lot identified

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – Two days after a man was shot and killed in a downtown Portland parking lot , authorities have released the victim’s name.

A medical examiner determined that Lee A. Mauras, 22, had died by gunshot on Oct. 6 after shots had been fired in the area of W Burnside Street and SW Third Avenue.

Officers responded to the area just after 2:30 a.m., but reported that Mauras was already dead.

Any possible suspects had left the area and no immediate arrests were made, according to officials.
