    LifeFlight responds to Highway 47 crash near Buxton, closures ongoing

    PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – LifeFlight responded to a crash on Highway 47 that caused two miles of lane closures on Tuesday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to KOIN 6 News.

    Officials said a lone vehicle crashed into a tree at Milepost 75 around 11:30 a.m. However, it is not clear how many passengers were inside the vehicle nor the extent of their injuries.

    After being closed for a couple of hours, OR 47 reopened in the afternoon two miles north of the junction with U.S. 26, ODOT said.

    Further details were not immediately available.
