PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Three people were arrested in Tangent after several thefts at a local business, authorities said.

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Hendrix Heating after a security system alerted the owners to someone entering the property at 2:20 a.m. Sunday.

The security system had been installed by the owners after several thefts at the business, authorities said.

As deputies arrived, they said they found Zakkery Sprinkles, 33, running from the scene towards a Honda Accord nearby.

In the car they found Teia Brady, 45, who admitted that she had come to the property to pick up Sprinkles, officials said.

The business was then searched by a drone and a K9 and authorities said they found Ryan Baarstad, 44, hiding inside a work truck on the Hendrix Heating property with stolen items and burglary tools.

Upon searching the Honda Accord, authorities said they found Sprinkles and Baarstad’s belongings as well as more burglary tools, drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The trio were arrested and face charges including second-degree criminal trespassing and criminal conspiracy to commit theft. Baarstad also faces third-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle charges.

Anyone with additional information about the thefts is asked to contact the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
