PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A small brush fire which grew to two acres prompted response from Lebanon Fire crews Saturday afternoon.

Just after 2 p.m., fire crews initially responded to the 31000 block of McCraven Lane on report of a small brush fire. However, when they arrived, they found the fire had grown.

Officials say the owner of the property claimed they had a fire a few days before, but thought it was out.

After returning from running errands for the day, they found the fire in the backyard and called 911.

It took around 90 minutes to extinguish the fire, according to Lebanon Fire District.
