I think there needs to be a mich louder alarm when u shut your car off that u need to check the back seats for kids.and have to.phyically turn it off I had 4 kids and 8 grandkids and never once left anyone in the car...something is lacking and one issue is cell phones preoccupation with cell phones and games so loud alarms that don't shut off when u turn off the motors

So he knew his car had this automatic shutoff but yet he still left his kid in the car in the middle of summer in AZ there's no excuse for him at this point, his video games meant more to him than his child's life.
