This clown says, "Commissions have always been negotiable." Bull. Agents have always shown the properties with the highest commissions. Period. If you cut the rate of the commission, your property will hardly get shown. Period. This has been their game for far too long. This new rule change will make each side (buyer/seller) responsible. If your house is worth a lot and 3% is over the top to pay, then negotiate it down. Don't be afraid. And be careful what you sign. Know when you can fire your agent for non performance if you've cut the commission and they aren't trying to sell (or find) your property.
