Mountain View under boil advisory

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Mo. — Some customers are under a boil advisory in Mountain View.

The city says customers from 1st Street to 5th Street between Vine and Ash Avenues are affected.

Crews are working today to reroute a water main.

While this is not a boil order, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources recommends customers under an advisory boil water vigorously for three minutes prior to use. Use only water that has been boiled for drinking, diluting fruit juices, all other food preparation and brushing teeth.
