Branson hosting grand opening for new fire station

BRANSON, Mo. — Fire Station #4, Branson’s brand new fire station, will begin operations Wednesday, May 1, and the community is invited to celebrate its grand opening.

The ceremony will start Wednesday morning starting at 10:30 a.m. and an open house will commence afterward until 1:00 p.m.

The fire station will be located in Southwest Branson on 250 Champagne Boulevard, but the City says the new station will decrease fire and emergency response times across the city through additional manpower, equipment and resources.

The new fire station was budgeted at $5 million and was funded by a half-cent Public Safety Sales Tax passed by Branson residents in 2017.
