Cards snap four-game skid with walk-off win against Midland

SPRINGFIELD–Tink Hence tied a career-high with nine strikeouts in six innings of work, and Jacob Buchberger’s walk-off base hit in the bottom of the 9th helped the Springfield Cardinals snap their four-game losing streak.

The Cardinals 3-2 victory against the Rockhounds gave them their first win of the six-game series with Midland. The series wraps up Sunday. First pitch goes off at 1pm.
