Yellville, Ar. – Torrential rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning has left Yellville, Arkansas in a Flash Flood Emergency. As flood waters rose, law enforcement enforced urgent evacuations.

Reports coming from the Yellville Fire Department says Creekside Nursing Home has been evacuated due to water being up to the bottom of patient’s beds.

Numerous road closures and washed-out bridges have been reported across the area. Radar estimates show nearly a foot of rain has fallen over the past 24 hours.

Further south between Marshall and Mountain View, Arkansas, radar reports show nearly 20″ of rain has fallen in the past 24 hours.

A flash flood warning extends until noon for Baxter, Marion, Searcy, and Stone counties in Arkansas.
