WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The City of West Plains is offering residents the opportunity to clear their homes of debris from last week’s storms.

According to West Plains Utilities , people in the city can drop off brush and storm debris at the Transfer Station for free from August 18-23.

A super, blue moon will light up the night sky Monday

City Utilities says debris has to be taken to the transfer station since sanitation crews won’t pick up debris from residences.

The city of West Plains Transfer Station is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at 1851 Goodhard Drive. More information can be found at westplains.gov .
