    Ozark man killed in motorcycle crash north of Branson

    TANEY COUNTY, Mo. — An Ozark man is dead after a motorcycle crash north of Branson.

    According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash happened on U.S. 65 eight miles north of Branson at around 8 p.m. on Aug. 20.

    Shooting in Greene County injures juvenile

    MSHP says 56-year-old James M. Turk was northbound on U.S. 65 when his motorcycle went off the left side of the road and overturned in the median, then went across the southbound side of the road and hit a guardrail.

    Turk died at the scene.

    This is MSHP Troop D’s 66th fatality for 2024.
